Red wine that has been aged for 18 months in new French oak (quercus petréa) barrels. Varietals 100% Tinta del país. The appearance is like a very mature cherry red with hints of mauve. A fine layer of tenuous future brownish shades. Bright and clean. Top layer intense, very even. In the aroma spices arise from the wood with the aromas of clove, black pepper and balsamic tones, to finally give way to the berries . High persistence. Smoothness dominates in the mouth, where the memory of very ripe “Tinta de País” grape harvest presents strongly. The wood accompanies the wine, leaving small notes of soft tannins that envelop the palate, and show the promise of long life for the grape from which it is made.
